Counts of voluntary reports from patients and doctors. They cannot show that a medicine caused anything and cannot give a rate, and a brand used by more people draws more reports.

Questions

Fatigue on a GLP-1: common questions

Which GLP-1 causes the most fatigue?

No trial here ranks them. By the rates each label prints, Wegovy 2.4 mg is highest at 11% (placebo 5%) and Trulicity 1.5 mg lowest at 5.6% (placebo 2.6%). These come from separate trials with different people and doses, so compare each to its own placebo group.

Does Wegovy make you tired?

In its FDA label, 11% of people taking Wegovy 2.4 mg reported fatigue, against 5% on placebo.

Does Foundayo make you tired?

In its FDA label, 9% of people taking Foundayo 17.2 mg reported fatigue, against 4% on placebo.

Does Saxenda make you tired?

In its FDA label, 7.5% of people taking Saxenda 3 mg reported fatigue, against 4.6% on placebo.

Does Zepbound make you tired?

How long does fatigue last on a GLP-1?

Labels describe when it happens, not how many days it lasts. Saxenda: "Events of asthenia, fatigue, malaise, dysgeusia and dizziness were mainly reported within the first 12 weeks of treatment with Saxenda and were often co-reported with gastrointestinal events such as nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea."
