Do GLP-1s cause joint pain?

We found no sentence on joint pain in the parts of the current GLP-1 labels we read. Studies do not settle it: in a trial of people with knee osteoarthritis pain fell more on semaglutide than on placebo, a pooling of trials found no significant change in joint scores, and a study of US veterans linked GLP-1s to more arthritic disorders, which shows a link and not a cause.

Reports to FDA about joint pain
